Here are five phrasal verbs you can use every day.

1. Look through
This means to look at a number of things quickly.

Example: I look through my Gmail and Facebook before going to work every morning.

2. Bring up
It means to mention something.

Example: Toyin was upset about the last discussion, so don’t let us bring it up today.

3. Call off
Call off means to cancel something.

Example: The interview was called off because of the heavy rain.

4. Come in
This means To enter.

Example: “Come in, the gate is open,” said the gatekeeper.

5. Wrap up
Wrap up means to finish or to bring to a close.
Example: I need to wrap up my work.
